Houghto-Grind 60

Product Description:
Houghto-Grind® 60 is an oil and nitrite-free chemical grinding coolant that provides excellent rust protection with cast iron. It may be highly diluted with water while still providing protection to freshly ground surfaces.

Recommended Use Concentrations:
Surface Grinding 4-5%
Since Houghto-Grind® 60 does not emulsify tramp oil, there is virtually no interference from this source.

Wiolan SH-10

Product Description:
Wiolan SH 10 is a special adaptation of a highly effective honing and grinding oil used extensively throughout Europe. The combination of lubricity agents, an effective inhibitor package and selection of carriers make it an ideal product for honing.

High production to dressing ratios can be expected as a norm while using Wiolan SH 10. Low surface roughness and full surface integrity is to be expected. To maintain surface quality Wiolan SH 10 can be filtered without altering product chemistry or efficacy.

Cutmax 206

Product Description:
Cut-Max 206 has a very effective additive package that is stable, effective and provides needed anti-welding and extreme pressure characteristics for difficult operations on hard-to-machine ferrous and nonferrous alloys. Boundary lubricant additives are compounded into the base oil for excellent machining characteristics at all cutting speeds.

Cut-Max 206 has demonstrated superior performance in screw machines as a versatile cutting oil where enhanced machinability and improved chip control is required. The organic dilutent and carrier for this oil has exceptional wetting and penetrating characteristics to insure an effective flow of the coolant to the chip­ tool interface.

Cutmax 568

Product Description:
Cut-Max 568 provides needed anti-welding and extreme pressure characteristics for difficult operations on hard-to-machine ferrous and nonferrous alloys. Additives are compounded into the base oil for excellent machining characteristics at all cutting speeds for heavy-duty conditions.

Additionally, a special anti-mist additive has been incorporated in Cut-Max 568 to help you meet the OSHA limitations on oil mist in your plant.

Cutmax 570

Product Description:
Base oils for Cut-M ax 570 are highly selected premium grade refined stocks. The organic diluent and carrier for the chlorine has exceptional wetting and penetrating characteristics to insure an effective flow of the coolant to the chip-tool interface.

Cut-Max 570 has a high chlorine content that is stable, effective and provides needed anti-welding and extreme pressure characteristics. Other additives are compounded into the base to give excellent machining characteristics at all cutting speeds, and under heavy­ duty conditions. In addition, a special anti-mist additive has been incorporated in Cut-Max 570 to help you meet the 5 mg/m3 limitation on oil mist that OSHA imposes.

Cutmax Mist 4199

Product Description:
Cut-Max Mist 4199 is formulated using naturally occurring fatty oils and is free of all hazardous materials. No sulfur, chlorine, solvents, mineral oils, or halogen-containing compounds are used to manufacture this product. Cut-Max Mist 4199 is designed for use with mist applicators so extremely small amounts of material are used on a daily basis and most of the material is consumed in the machining process. Cut-Max Mist 4199 virtually eliminates the need for subsequent cleaning operations and waste disposal.

Cut-Max Mist 4199 is recommended for machining and grinding of both ferrous and nonferrous materials. Typical operations include: milling, drilling, tapping, stamping, roll forming, and bending. The minute quantity of Cut-Max Mist 4199 used on the tool­ work piece interface minimizes product misting into the workplace air. (As always for any metalworking fluid, adequate ventilation is recommended.)

Excelene 516

Product Description:
Excelene 516 is a straight metalworking oil, designed especially for precision grinding. The product is mainly used with steel, and gray cast iron.

Excelene 516 is particularly suitable for high stock removal rates and grinding speeds due to excellent cooling and detergency properties. The extreme pressure properties ensure improved surface quality, as well as extended tool life.

Hydrocracked base oils prevent Excelene 516 from clouding and ensure minimal evaporation. Air bubbles generated while grinding are released immediately resulting in a continuously even film of lubricant at the grinding site, which promotes reduced loads on tool and work-piece. Excelene 516 is mainly used as a precision grinding oil. However, the product is also suitable for drilling, turning, and milling at high stock removal rates.
